    In summer 2009, four boys got together and had the idea to be a band.
    Some months later, the four met again in the basement of bassist Jan and the first songs started to grow.
    The Typewriters were founded.
    After some concerts and recordings in 2010, the four boys want to record their first album in 2011.
    The music can be classified in many genres, but the main genre is Alternative- and Indie-Rock.
