    Root Sixty-Nine came together in the summer of 2013 and played several concerts under the name "Hadacol Brothers". The bandname was changed twice until the members finally agreed on the name "Root Sixty-Nine".
    Originally with Roman Brunner on trumpet, the band was later reduced to four players, until Lukas Becker joined on bass guitar at the start of 2014.
