    Scourge of God has been tearing up the South Suburbs of Chicago since early 2004. Initially starting out as a five piece, they played several shows, and recorded a demo in early 2005. A few minor lineup changes later, they've come to take the city of Chicago by storm.

    Influenced by bands such as Metallica, Dream Theater, Megadeth, Sepultura, Anthrax, Iced Earth, and an endless list of other metal acts, Scourge of God, like they're namesake, will lay waste to you with their in-your-face musical style, and make you appreciate the guitar solo once again.
