    TOP STORIES
Just Like Always was formed in the Spring of 2005 by Ben and Joe. The remains of their former effort, The Cheats, Just Like Always is a renewed attempt to plug into the minds of those starved for quality music in this modern landscape of corporately controlled sound. Just Like Always is a name that Joe and Ben picked to reflect their insouciant attitude towards the uncontrolled forces driving them through life. It also reflects some of their feelings and emotions about the bitter break up of their former project, and the typical nature in which that break up occurred.
Drawing influence from a variety of music, Just Like Always has a more mature tone than its predecessor. During the summer of 2005 the band acquired powerful frontman and songwriter, Donny Kane. After a lengthy audition process the band found a local drum phenom named Blake Boynton. His beats have shaped the unique Just Like Always sound. A few weeks later Ben and Joe were reunited with their former high octane bassist, Soto thus completing the band's roster.

With an enthusiastic freshness and zeal Just Like Always started gigging in the early fall despite having completed their lineup only two weeks before. They took the same energy and reckless abandon that brought such success to their former projects as well as a renewed devotion to making quality music. Now Just Like Always compliments songs about learning to cope with the differences between people with songs that attempt to address a wide variety of issues, such as learning to survive when all else fails, finding hope in the hopeless, and finding the light at the dark end of the street.
