    TOP STORIES
Stella Mira grew out of a musician ad placed by Joe Ciani-Dausch, Brian Rauer and Steve Citarella in March of 2003, which drew guitarists Sean Cranford and Mark Cookson. They were soon joined by professional drummer Mark Lucas, and quickly built up a broad spectrum of original material drawn from an eclectic mix of melodic modern rock sounds.

The band recorded an EP in October 2003 at Ambient Studios, and has just released its 2006 CD "Between Now and Never" produced and engineered by Mark Sarisky, whose credits include Tori Amos, Korn, Paula Cole, Annie Lennox, Blues Traveler, The Disco Biscuits, and The Fabulous Thunderbirds.

Stella Mira was selected by AFE and USO to entertain our troops in the summer of 2005, and was selected to perform in the 2006 Arlington Six Points Music Festival.
