    This band started as a project in 2001, when Timo K, Markku and Oksa (ex-drummer) started to play together beside their main band called 'Silkwood'.

    Soon this project was boosted up by Juhani, who joined the band somewhere in the 2003. At this time, the project was history, and a new real band was formed.

    Dead Shape Figure was looking for other guitarist a quite long time until Erno joined the band at the early times of 2005.

    Many gigs were played and DSF managed to get their name known throughout the underground and had positive feedback from allkind of people.

    By the end of the year 2005 DSF experienced their first line-up change when Timo H took Oksa's place in drums. After this DSF has been even more brutal and aggressive.
