    Brandon met up with Gabe when he joined
    the band Passing Reality in 2004. From there, Gabe joined Brandon's band The Blackberries, but the band did not hold together. Too many differences from within pulled the band apart. In the fall of 2005, Brandon, who had moved 75 miles to Milwaukee, called upon Gabe to drum in The Blackberries once again. With a new guitarist and bassist, both attending UW-Milwaukee, the band reformed into a musical machine for the streets of Milwaukee.
