    With Waking Eyes is a Chicago based metal band. After their previous band failed, Chris and Justin Di Lorenzo started to jam around with Tomasz Robak. During one of the yet unnamed band's jam sessions, soon to be vocalist Justin Villar was in attendance. Subsequently, he was glad to become a part of the project. A bassist was needed to complete the group. Two days before their first show, With Waking Eyes asked Danny Rudnick, bassist for The Days, to fill in temporarily. They played a badass show and Danny became a full-time part of the band. Early on in 2006, With Waking Eyes parted ways with Danny and added Zack Serrano to their lineup.
