According to the band, “The world my parents are letting me inherit” is the inspiration for the songwriting that will assail you on any given song by Thout. Preceding generations bestow both good and bad on the one to come. There are always improvements and always downslides. This major social dynamic packs a punch into the music of Thout as the band explores these themes with heady music.
