    TOP STORIES
Just when you thought you couldn't come across the creative likes of A Tribe Called Quest, or get a chance to enjoy that sound of beautiful music again, in steps Brothers from Different Mothers. The group consist of four members; Blake Carrington, Ron D, Brother Akil, and JWolF who have been said to bring a whole new twist to the industry that Toronto’s urban music scene has been missing.

BFDM showmanship on and off stage has created a buzz from the “905” to the “416” performing at venues such as Nathan Phillips Square, Dundas Square, and Queens Park, just to name few. They have also become fan favorites on the college/university scene through numerous memorable performances at University of Toronto, York University, Centennial College, Mc Master University, Concordia University, Ryerson University and much more! They are lyrically respected by all who dare to listen.

Since the formation of the group, these four artists have developed an even stronger sound from performing on audio CD to traveling with their very own live band. Joined by:

    Guitarist Tom Ionescu aka TBRO
    Bassist, Devon Richardson aka FUNBOY
Drummer, Zach Sutton aka FOGGY STALLION

BFDM has undeniably set the bar for truly musically-minded artists. Their sound knows no barriers as they’ve been known to experiment with a range of genres including rock, r&b, hip-hop, dance, soul, blues, jazz, and much more.

Brothers from Different Mothers have successfully fused their distinctive individual talents and style into one creatively positive harmonious sound- which is sure to turn out much success. Only time will show the gift that God has blessed them with… Brothers from Different Mothers.
