    One listen to Van Random and you're hooked. Filler is a foreign word in this band's catalogue as each song will show you and each fan will tell you. Van Random is a Los Angeles based rock band with members from all over the U.S. Van Random has been making solid rock music since Zac Moore, Greg Gaston and Dave Ray formed the band in a Los Angeles garage in November 2004. The later addition of Brandon Yano on bass and keyboards solidified VR as a great and upcoming new band to watch out for. Van Random recently recorded an EP in March 2006 which is creating major buzz around the LA rock scene and which The Indie Reviewer said, "sounds like the offspring of The Ramones and Jet...this is another great rock band keepin’ the spirit alive". VR has played gigs all over the greater Los Angeles area and has been packing venues such as The Viper Room, The Joint, The Whiskey A Go Go and The Roxy. Van Random is always looking for more opportunities to showcase their music, including obtaining a manager, signing to a label and playing more live gigs! The Van Random fan base is steadily growing as this band prepares to explode on the modern rock scene.

    As their name implies, Van Random's influences and styles are drawn from the best rock has had to offer. Incorporating the catchy melodies of The Beatles, the eerie synth of The Doors, the energy of The Clash, the distortion of Nirvana, the diversity of Sublime, all the way up to the modern rock standard of The Strokes and Foo Fighters, Van Random's songs encompass the breadth of rock 'n' roll and they are constantly raising the bar with each new original. Whether it be a catchy hard rock anthem or acoustic epic, all who hear them agree that Van Random follows in that lineage of worthwhile music and with the right break, this band has the talent to make its mark among the greats of rock....
