    TOP STORIES
The Dawn of a New Age in music is here. It is called Serene Love Morphene. Formally Known as Dirty Muse, Serene Love Morphene was born not by want but by fate and an extreme love for the Red Hot Chili Peppers. It began May of 2005 by Adam Mishan and Danny Friedlander. When they first started for about 2 months it was just the two, making music and hanging out and developing and strengthening an already strong camaraderie, between the two. But the emphasis was on just hanging out and having a good time and music was just a beautiful thing that they found and liked to play. Then in July they allowed Adam Hochberg to enter the band they had very good times, good productivity, and good progression towards what they have now become. After 2 months full of vacations and not such a solid amount of practice or jamming, they later, in October decided that Hochberg was not right for them. Up until this point they had not played with a bassist at all. They soon after found a newer drummer that blew them away with his amazing skill his name was Isaac Nacson. They then found a bassist named Josh Weiner, who there is just no words to describe how good he is. Since, they have been making new and innovative Funk/Rock songs reaching 50 songs to date. The band, through the next year went through many difficulties. Things have quieted down in the world of SLM but soon they will be on the uproar, hitting the music scene harder than ever before putting the past behind them and a bright future in sight with a new bassist named Ryan Charkow they will be better than ever. All I can say is... Are You Ready to FUNK!
