Stone Melodies’s cool rock and technical abilities won the unanimous vote of the jury at the Ottawa Final.  They will go to represent Ottawa at the Ontario Finals on June 21st in Toronto.  STONE MELODIES made a clean sweep of the night, also taking home 500$ worth of Converse footwear, Best Drummer and Best Guitarist honours. Here’s the full rundown: First Place:    STONE MELODIES STONE MELODIES will take part of the OntarioFinal Jne 21st for a chance to go to Germany.  They will also play in “The Best of Emergenza Tour” in October 2003 in Montreal and in Ottawa Second Place:   LOVENBODYPARTS LOVENBODYPARTS will take part in “The Best of Emergenza Tour” in October 2003 in Toronto and in Ottawa Third Place:    THE RUDE DUDES THE RUDE DUDES will take part in “The Best of Emergenza Tour” in October 2003 in Ottawa Best Vocalist:  Sam Enright, LOVENBODYPARTS Sam takes home an Evolution Wireless Microphone System from Sennheiser Best Guitarist: Luke Paluch, STONE MELODIES Luke earned our beautiful custom-shop Music Man Axis Sport guitar Best Bassit:    David Daley, GROUND LEVEL DEFIED David wins an OLP bass, courtesy of Music Man Best Drummer:   Jamie Urie, STONE MELODIES Jamie takes home  a full set of cymbals from Sabian Band Award:     SIMPLE SIMPLE won the vote of the other Finalists.
