The meetings between the Canadian bands and the Emergenza European management begin on the 18th of November in Toronto. During these discussions the musicians will be confirmed on to their first concert dates to kick start the 2003 Festival season. The meetings will continue the following week in Ottawa, and from November the 29nd to December the 7th in Montreal. This year's Festival already has the potential to be the best with already 90 bands in Toronto, 60 in Ottawa and 120 in Montreal. These bands are the first fortunate groups to be assured an important slice of the slots available for the 2003 season, which total 320. All of the meetings will take place in the famously re-known "Steve's Music store" in each one of the three city, where it is also possible to sign up for the festival until the availability is sold out or, in any case, until the 31st of December 2002. The three directors from Emergenza who are crossing the 'great pond' to face three gruelling weeks of meetings in Canada seem very excited about the idea, "It is always an exciting and a great experience to meet new artists"- states Sabrina Baron, Tour Manager between Spain, England, and Canada - whilst packing her suitcases, "in particular the Canadian bands, who have already shown, from last year's event, to be amongst the most original, interesting and determined through-out the world."
