Cubi Rossi is an italian emergent band born in may 2016, formed by Marina Giusti, singer(18 years), Gianluca Leoncini, guitarist (20 years) , Federica Sutera , bassist (19 years) and Alessandro Leoncini, drummer (18 years).

After several concerts, the band appeared in the contest, “Area Sanremo Tour”, in 2017.The band reached the final, and  the commission leads them to perform in Casa Siae, Casa Sanremo and in others local places, during the Sanremo Week.

In the same year they also appeared in the European social Sound Contest in Perugia, where they achieved fourth place.

From 2018 to 2019 they performed in many places like Hard Rock Caffe, Beat Festival, Serravalle Rock, Blitz Live music pub, Santomato Live Club and at The Cage Theater, Legend Club and Alcatraz on the occasion of the Emergenza Festival , and they also have participated in some famous contests conquering the top positions and the admiration of the audience.

In November 2018 they released and published in all digital stores their first single “Nel Disordine”conquering the 48th position of the MEI’s classification and in May 2019 they released their second single “Basta Un Attimo”.

Their genre is characterized by an harmonious blend of pop and rock music with a melodic style.

1)Have you participated in the Emergenza festival Edition 2018/2019. What made you decide to take part in it ?

We just decided to take part in it because we knew that it could be a great experience to grown up and to share our music with a big audience and on important stages.

2)As you approach the World final, what is your state of mind ?

We’re so proud and honored of this opportunity and we still can’t believe.

3)What is your best memory from your Emergenza experience?

Every experience at Emergenza Festival has been the best, we think that every feeling we felt on those stages has been important for our growth.

4)What’s behind your band’s name? Any specific meaning?

The meaning of our name is really simple, we just wanted people to remember it, so we just chose the figure of the Cube because we think that is the only thing that can represent our unity and who WE ARE! Then we chose a color, “red” because the two boys’s grandfather has a band which name was composed by a name with a color.

5)Can you tell us a funny story or anecdote about your experience on stage? And one which happened in backstage or during the preparation of a show?

The funniest thing was that the drummer of our band “Alessandro” asked us “what is the Taubertal Festival?” When we just found out our win at the Alcatraz. Before a concert and a show we always make a sort of secret and intime ritual that gives us the power and the concentration to make our best.

6)How would you describe your music?

Our music is pure energy, power, emotion, and freshness.

7)What are your short to medium term plans after the Emergenza’s world final?

We just want to keep on with music, performing on small and big places with the same feelings we always have. Staying unity and fighting for our dream, music.
