    TOP STORIES
Based in the San Francisco bay area, the hard rock trio UNTIED blend fierce, heavy, melodic guitar riffs with a soaring combination of bass and drums to deliver a raw, catchy, hook laced sound that is sure to draw some attention. Vocalist/Bassist/Guitarist Brandon Ragan and brother/drummer Bryan Ragan began playing music in their father's band as youngsters. They performed a wide variety of cover tunes at local school events and street fairs. They learned early on the many tricks of the trade to live performing. By the time they reached high school the Ragan brothers, having played their share of cover tunes, had begun to develop their own unique sound. Within the last 10 years, the Ragan brothers have experimented with various styles of music including R&B, Blues, Funk and some Latin laced grooves. The music was always well written but lacked something, the right guitarist! Enter Markus Spohn! Markus, a transplant from Germany, came to the U.S. about 4 years ago. He spent many years playing in various original and cover bands throughout Europe. Now he's joined forces with the Ragan brothers to take on the bay area music scene. Untied draw from many different influences but maintain true to their rock roots amidst a sea full of bands searching for a voice. Always writing and recording, Untied continues to push their sound, twisting and turning as they go. For a 3 piece, their live sound is full and powerful and should not be missed.
