Born and bred in Redcliffe, Moved to North Stradbroke Island at 17. Moved to south Brisbane at 19 for work and music studies. I have an extremely eclectic taste in music. Whilst remaining mindful of target audiences I try not to limit myself with the predispositions associated with genre. I would class myself as currently being most fluent with Soul,RnB,Hip Hop and Pop. Im currently finalizing my first album that began in 2007. The theme of the album progresses through what one could describe as the beginning, the fairytale, the separation of path, the loss of my "true love",to be alone, to awake and realize what once was,her life since and to finish with an overall sensation of what comes next? is it truly over? maybe she too remembers? The album is titled "For And About Her" It has 5 tracks titled 1.I Am 2.Your Tender Kiss 3.How lucky He Is 4.Goodbye,So long,Farewell and 5.Yesterday,Today,Tomorrow. I've been in the process of structuring potential album releases for some time now. As all of the songs selected for the initial album revolve around the same topic the time frame in which they were written is quite broad on the spectrum of my development. The exploration of my 3 octave range left a sense of disassociation between both vocal tonalities and writing ability. Whilst trying to remain respectful to the nature of the song at the time of its writing but wanting to apply skills obtained since then the development of this album has been a difficult but extremely rewarding process.
