    Ray Mazza & Mike Brent former members of the abe lincoln theatre experience started playing music together with Ray on drums. Mike on Bass. In that band Ray started writing songs on a guitar with Dan Maiella a friend from Ray's former band secret 9 ,& Mike Brent. From those songs the band The spines was born. The spines was Dan Maiella on drums and Mike Brent on bass, Ray Mazza guitar and vocals.Now we have added a new member our drummer Ryan Kornblatt his drumming brings alot to the sound of the band and happy to have him in the spines! We are a mix in sound of indie pop, to alternative rock, Some songs so catchy they will stay in your head all day. For the future of the spines we are finishing up our first cd "follow this home" Wich will be sold through Itunes and other internet sites and will continue to write more material. and will pursue to gain label interest.
