This charing cross venue is sadly no longer with us. Astoria, as it was more commonly known as, was central London's best pop and indie venue by far. Many as big as U2, muse and many others played there before going to stadiums. Lady gaga was one of the last acts to have played this amazing 1000 capacity venue before being demolished to make room for the London 2012 Olympics underground train extension. Emergenza international music competition was there at this amazing live music venue and supplied the best up coming bands in the London area. It will be sadly missed by the millions of Londoners and thousands of emerging artists in that city
