    NOTIZIE PRINCIPALI
Julie is a four-piece rock outfit from Southern California unleashing a progressive power pop sound with melodic overtones, an aggressively emotional attitude and well crafted lyrics. Julie is Nathan James, guitar and lead vocals, Dustin Bath, lead guitar, Nissim Aharon, drums, and Grey Melcher, bass, Midi flute and trumpet and backup vocals. They take their influences from the likes of The Pixies, Morrissey, The Weirdos, Fionna Apple and David Bowie. Nathan Dustin and grey have been writing songs and playing music together since they were 15 years old. Nissims hard hitting yet smooth and dynamic style combined with Greys greasy bass lines and avant-garde approach to pop music, help propel Julies sound into unexpected musical territory. Julies live shows are exhilarating and Nathans stage presence is charismatic. His vocals have been compared to Jeff Buckley and his performance is reminiscent of late 70s punk rock front men. The chemistry between the band and the audience is electrifying. Playing to packed audiences all over Los Angeles; Julie shows have been captivating people hungry to hear an independent sound that is authentic and explosive. Their self titled CD Julie is available now through julietheband.com
