    Heruba plays an hybrid international style of music. The group is a laboratory of experiments with sounds and styles influenced by European Hip Hop, French rap, African music, Bob Marley and the Roots, among others. We have soul and conscious lyrics about poverty, the state of Africa, and many other injustices throughout this planet. Unlike many hip hop groups who rap about bitches, hoes, gold chains and fast cars and so on...HERUBA speaks about politics, ecology and social problems.


    HERUBA, c'est l'âme du dieu Horus, le dieu de l'azur et des espaces célestes. Le soleil et la lune sont ses yeux. L’oeil d’Horus, il symbolise l’impitoyable acuité du regard justicier auquel rien ne peut échapper, autant au niveau de la vie intime que publique. On le voit toujours combattant, tel un fier guerrier, pour sauvegarder l'équilibre entre des forces opposées. Son but est de faire triompher les forces des fils (et filles) de la lumière.
