NOTIZIE PRINCIPALI
Triumph and Parade is a five-piece band from the south suburbs of Chicago. Taking influence from bands like Emery, Just Surrender, and My American Heart, they have acquired a unique sound, including catchy vocals with countless melodies and harmonies. At the same time, the songs on their EP also contain raw, chest-pounding, guitar-driven elements making them a well-rounded group to any music lover.
After 4 years of relentless practicing and performing, the band recorded their first professional 6 song EP, which was released on June 2, 2006. The EP was recorded and mixed in Chicago with engineer Mike Hari at Exit Studios and Gravity Studios (Story of the Year, Fall Out Boy, Spitalfield). It was also mastered at Sterling Sound in NY.
The band has promoted a few mp3s from their EP on their new myspace page. With these songs online, they have received over 30,000 plays in about 5 months, helping them gain numerous new listeners along with dedicated fans.
Sharing the stage with bands like A Static Lullaby, Inept, The Pink Spiders, Ryan’s Hope, Million Billion, The Hanks, The Alpha Couple, Go Crash Audio, Park, This Providence, So They Say, I am Ghost, The Classic Crime, Feature Presentation, and This Is Me Smiling, along with experience at venues in Chicago such as Congress Theatre, The Elbow Room, and The Note, the band is now being shown opportunities to play out of state shows. They recently performed with The Pink Spiders at The Varsity Theatre (Minneapolis, MN) and with After Never at the House of Rock (Eau Claire, WI). In preparation for future touring, they are currently in the process of booking more out of state shows. The band sells their cds on Smartpunk.com and their myspace to help increase coast-to-coast sales, therefore, making those future tours possible.
