Там Тепло is Russian funk-rock band formed in 2015 in Magnitogorsk. The band consists of Viacheslav Soldatov (vocals), Andrey Kvachev (guitar), Alexander Novikov (drums) and Pavel Maltsev (bass).
Their music is a mix of indie, rock and funk with a lot of explosive energy, and true emotions. Only raw sound of 4-man band without backing tracks, live hacks, cheese snacks. Have to see them live to perceive all hidden insanity of Ural Mountains!
1) You have participated in the Emergenza Festival Edition 2017/2018. What made you decide to take part in it?
We just ran into an ad of this festival in social network, and our good friend convinced us to try
2) As you approach the world final, what is your state of mind?
To enjoy the party all the way!
3) What is your best memory from your Emergenza experience?
Our best memory is a whole Emergenza, because we had to go to other city every time, ab.300 km, it was a lot of fun, and we have made many friends.
4) What's behind your band's name? Any specific meaning?
Там Тепло is difficult to translate into english without loosing a whole meaning, but the best approximation is : "It's a lot of warmth over there". Inpired by lack of sunny days in our city and our trips to the south
5) If you had to choose a famous song that represents your band...which one would it be?
Interesting question. Nothing but our own songs represent us best.
6) Can you tell us a funny story or anecdote about your experience on stage? And one which happened in backstage or during the preparation of a show?
There was funny thing on the Emergenza: In the middle of our song all stage hadrware was suddently shut down, all dead silent, but crowd continued to sing along with us) It was awesome
7) How would you describe your music ?
Music experience of four totally different people. Never agreed with each other but sometimes.
8) Before you go on stage, do you have a ritual or a good luck charm that goes everywhere with you?
Every time we can't wait to go to the stage, and don't have special rituals. we just like to play.
9) What is your dream gig?
We make our dreams real by ourselves every time, but it would be awesome to play at biiiig open air stage with good sound.
10) What can audiences expect from one of your live performances?
True emotions. True sound. And somenthing you couldn't describe..)
11) If you could invite a band or an artist at your party, dead or alive, who would it be?
Should we mention here our favourite bands?
A lot of them would be here. We'd drink with RHCP, probably
12) What are your short to medium term plans after the international final?
Short plan - to take some vacations after the festival. Med plan - to release our first album. Or two.
13) What inspires you when you are composing (musical inspirations or others)?
Of course, it's our fav music. But also the people that live here with us, come to our gigs, receive and transform our energy.
14) What question did I forget?
"How to pronounce correctly your band's name?". Phonetic: [ tˈam tʲɪplˈo ], transliteration: Tam Teplo.
15) Why do you think you deserve to win the 2018 Festival edition?
First time on Emergenza. From beginning to the final. Why not? People are to decide!
