If you haven’t yet attended an Emergenza show, this one is a great place to start. With a healthy mix of the more common rock and indie sounds and the fun, bouncy beats of reggae, this night is sure to please even the most discerning fan.

The Right Track, up second is a band of friends whose tight-knit relationship translates beautifully into their music. The melodic vocals backed by the tight instrumentals are sure to please the audience.
Singer/songwriter Maxime Deschamps takes the stage next. His unique style highlighted by the use of various acoustic instruments and his signature look.
Euzotes, the talented three piece prog/alternative rock is the evening’s ‘hump’ act. Fourth out of seven, these gents play a melody with long instrumental intros that lead into their well polished lyrics and vocal.
Original rock band Wlove, lead by a talented and charismatic front man are up next. Classic rock sound intertwined with some modern and experimental elements creates music with wide appeal.
Bringing to the stage a marriage of rap reagge and rock with the added twist of it being in French, Les Francbâtards are one of the more unique acts of the night – definitely not a set to be missed.
Keeping with a similar style of music, Kaliroots explores the roots of reggae. And if their music isn’t enough to keep you interested and entertained, they have enough musicians on stage to guarantee something for everyone.
And so we wrap up this set of shows in the great metropolis of Montreal. I look forward to seeing the winners in the semi-finals and the opportunity to get to know them better in the weeks to come.
