In a clashing of styles which are rarely seen teaming up, Ketchup Stain brings us music that is sure to please even the most particular of listeners. Their universal appeal was demonstrated just this past weekend when they took to the stage for the first round of the Emergenza International Music Festival and waltzed right into the semi final round at Club Soda this spring. The band is already hard at work promoting this show, one which could pave their way right to the festival’s international open air final in Germany.  These guys are well versed at band promo and marketing, having taken part in a number of battle of the band events on Montreal’s local music scene.

One quick peak at the band’s YouTube video severs as an excellent business card for the band. Their energy and commitment to the music comes across in the songs as well as in the way they in which they interact with the crowd and each other on stage. The lead vocal coming from the bassist is clean, crisp and full of emotion. The three musicians are in perfect synch with their arrangements, and take a few moments on different occasions to showcase their musical talents without any vocals. Keep it up guys!
