Songwriting, talent and versatility come together in the music of Mirelle.

With several opportunitities to showcase her music live, the young Mirelle is making her debut on the local music scene count.

The second set of eliminatory round shows for the Emergenza Festival in Montreal will pick up in a few weeks at the O Patros Vys. Continuing in the trend of solo-type acts that seems to prevail, a young artist by the name of Mirelle Lupovici will be taking the stage. This young lady is in love with music it shows. She writes all her own lyrics and in doing so, proves she’s got quite the talented as her lyrics appear to carry a kind of sophistication that that is beyond her years.

Mirelle is a dedicated artists, something one can judge very easily after seeing the number of videos she has of her various performances – more and less formal. Only someone truly committed to their art will take the time to record then share with the world so diligently. At only 17, Mirelle repertoire boasts a number of original songs which she’s written herself. Coupled with the fact that she plays the piano as well as guitar to accompany her songs, this makes her an outstanding up & coming musician.

The vocals on her songs really showcase the young artists’ range and strength. There are nuances in each of her songs that
show just how versatile her vocals are and how she can adapt them based on the theme and tempo of the song. While there’s no denying that Mirelle is still young and has a ways to go in the local music scene (and beyond!) it’s just as clear that she is on the right path and has the talent, skill and determination to succeed. I hope she has also has the ability to do some kick butt promo so that we can see her in the semi final round of the festival.
