Four young talented musicians from Montreal, committed to rock as it used to be, or at least as it should be. With a super positive attitude and equally positive and inspiring songwriting, it’s a pleasure to listen to these young lads. One of their band members has already been publicly recognized, as one of the stars of the popular TV show for up & coming artists, Canada’s Got Talent.

As This year will be Surge’s second time taking part in the Emergenza Music Festival.  Last year they put on a super dynamic show at L’Alize and left an impression on the crowd which sent them to the semi finals at Club Soda. Their set was a healthy mix of upbeat original pieces as well as some ballads. As anyone who frequents the battle of the bands scene will tell you, these ballad moments are a super welcome respite for the crowd, so good on them for working them in!

Listening to No More Way to Paradise and Brainwashed there is no mistaking of their passion and commitment to the classic days of Rock. With influences like Pink Floyd and Bon Jovi, how can you go wrong? They faithfully respect their idols with fantastic guitar riffs, keyboard interludes and dynamic vocals.
