Three experienced Montreal musicians have come together to form this trio whose music explores the topics of the day, those relevant to the audience and those which make up our daily lives. Their experience has allowed them to create a sound that is  solid, where each one of them brings their personal energy and past. Together they create a piece of alternative rock that is common among up & coming bands, and in live music festivals, but rarely implemented so skillfully.

A drummer who sings lead is quite a rarity, in fact, usually band members laugh at me when I ask if their drummer needs a mic. The drummer & lead singer for Emtpy CITIzenis is no laughing matter. Not only does he put out melodic and powerful vocals, he is also one half of a super tight rhythm section. Accompanied by frequent guitar solos and memorable riffs, Empty CITIzen delivers a sound that is both classic and memorable.

They took part in the final round of the Emregenza Festival at L’Olympia this past June and  wowed the crowd with a solid set that featured some of their best musical pieces and songwriting.
