Peace for Kinds are the token metal band at each battle of the bands event. If the genre must be represented by just a few select acts, these guys are as a good a choice as any. They embody the music, their passion is unmistakably conveyed in their melodies and arrangements and even the lyrics – which admittedly I had to seek out online.

These guys however have something few metal bands can boast - a female vocalist.  She manages to do something I have never in my 12 years in the industry heard a female do – she gets the death growl down pat. Equally impressive is her up front audience engagement. During the course of the Emergenza music festival I tracked their shows and found that she’s awesome at this!

What better way to promote your band and get the audience to take notice then to invite everyone to partake in your music not from the sidelines but right up front.  The band is fantastically in synch while on stage, and follow each other very well – at least musically.
