For and up & coming rock band, Era 9 certainly have all their duck in a row. Not only did they place fourth in the Emergenza music festival but they are now one of the contenders for a shot at playing during the Grey Cup in Toronto. Not very surprising when one takes into account their commitment to making this happen, and all the work they’ve put into it. The band has a strategy of writing music that will appeal to the widest possible fan base, which results in a sound that does in fact please all ears. With powerful guitar solos and vocal melodies these guys are not afraid of taking chances. They also don’t shy away from incorporating other instruments into their music – which his why you can find a hint of piano and violin on various pieces.
Their performance at the live music venue captured the audience and prove they know just as much about music marketing as they do about playing it.
Their powerful songwriting is brought to life in their videos, something not every band can do so skillfully. The felt very much a part of the young lady’s goings on while listening to Calling Out and the chorus captured me, like it seems to have her!
