Magical Montreal Campus Concerts and L’Inco All Ages Attractions
Friday began with the boys from Feel Gud jamming out acoustic style to start the night off right.
The Others followed up their eliminatory performance with a strong second appearance of heavy rock from Rodden.
Pocket Patty was next to thrill with their rock skills.
The Walsh Tribute always brings the strings and acoustic guitars with bassoon backup were a highlight Thursday night. Heruba wound down the evening on a stylish note cooling off the evening.
Saturday, the second of two nights at Petit Campus had Crazy Carpet make their return to the stage with modern rock flair.
Abendlicht made another industrial tribute set to one of their favorites. JF and his band Hollow Grief played their signature namesake song to the audience’s appreciation, making for an exciting set.
Unbeing continued the rock assault followed up by Eversince. Under Revolution made their appearance worth the time and played a handful of inspired songs.
Edelweiss showed what skilled musicians they are and brought the night to a close to a hearty round of applause.
Sunday the venue was changed to accommodate the under 18 crowd and made for a successful night of fun and music at L’Inco. >
Starting off at 6 pm was the guys from The Straight WayOcean sounds much like Coldplay done the Montreal way and the boys and girls really enjoyed that. The Superstitions seemed like they had bitten off a little more than they could chew and put in a new singer for this show. They played many instrumental, just guitar and drums.
The Hopes had a small brass section some keys and a good range of songs including some with reggae inspiration.
Incarnia always blaze during a show and showed how much during their heavy metal set. Shock Therapy had the most interactive and interesting show of the night, incorporating costumes and lots of stage talk to get the people involved. Transcend played their first show in this formation and made it a benchmark for all of their shows to come. Their set of prog. metal had the audience on their feet waiting for more.
Witness of a Crime finally got their chance to rock the house and rock it they did, good hard-rock form.
Obscene Machine franco-rock fellows played with a range of different sounds and room to grow.
