    Innocent Uprising is the musical brain child of Sean Nicholas and Travis McVey, that first came to surface in September of 2007. The love of reggae, rock and hip/hop driven music gave birth to the new project. The band, as it is known today started in January of 2008. New comers Kyle Nicholas, Bob Terrien, and Zig Zag joined the group. As a whole, the boys have created one of the most unique and catchy sounds to come out of Providence, RI. To date the quintet collectively has played with talents such as State Radio, Braddigan, The Wailers, Toots & The Maytals, Swann Notty, Oveous Maximus, The Rustic Overtones, and Badfish, to name a few.
