Shadows Of Light was formed in 2001 by drummer Charlie Phan and guitarist Tim Gleaves. They soon were joined by bassist John Goodrich as they began a long writing process. They auditioned over 75 vocalists but they could not find the right one until 2004 when longtime friend Michael Ashley decided to join Shadows Of Light. Quickly they refined their unique sound and stage show and began to unleash it on Nashville. In Dec. 2004, the band began recording their debut cd at Storm Dog studios. They are currently finishing up the recording that will be released in March. The band draws from influences such as Godsmack, Alice in Chains, Rush, Sevendust, In Flames, and many others.
