Old friends and long time musicians, Rob and Galen started Land a year ago. The music stems from the jam and is constantly evolving. Ifluences include Cream, The Black keys , The Gratefull Dead, Elmore James, Kings of Leon.
Rob provides soulful vocals and a guitar style all his own, as well as some of the most poetic lyrics around these days.
Galen is the drummer/percussionist and vocal backup, and together , are known to put on inspired perfomances filled with keen musicality and a suprisingly full sound for a duo. Enjoy a Land show coming near you.
A full length was recently recorded at Mushroom studios in Vancouver and is awaiting release.
