Out Now Debut Album from Elite Zero

This debut release will have you wandering why you’ve never heard of electro-rock outfit Elite Zero

These guys are everything but zero’s. Their brand new debut release entitled Zero will have you wandering why you’ve never heard of electro-rockers Elite Zero. They’ve got a solid base of instrumentation. Super dynamic and round. Pretty typical electro rock material, with touches of the new wave here and post-rock there. That’s all well and good, but it’s the melodic approach of singer Alessandra Zwerger who distinguishes this band from the average guitarist-who-can-carry-a-tune-band to a truly vocally driven electro pop outfit. The slightly bluesy and always falsetto sound of the vocals adds a certain depth to what could otherwise be considered superficial dance lyrics. The first original track on the album “Dancing Souls” could be likened to a more down to earth, lo-fi version of a Madonna song. Totally infectious power dance vibe. But it’s “Reliable Love” that really stands out. It’s a great example of how a simple melody can really drive a song. Be warned: once this one gets in your head, it won’t budge. With a little more elbow grease, any one of these songs could easily be top on the list of any DJ in any dance club anywhere. The album was recorded at the band’s home studio (god/zilla) and mixed and mastered by Simone Piccinelli at the Indiebox Musichall in the fall of 2013. In the wake of that killer debut release the band is gigging like crazy. They just electrified the stage at Latte + in Brescia for the Emergenza Italia Festival in March. Check back in with us at Emergenza.net to hear if they've made it to the semifinals.
