    Hard Hitting Demo from FaithFall

Florentine band FaithFall is hitting the ground running with their heavy hitting three-song demo

Contrary to what their name might make out—sounding like "faithful" or loyal, but intended to mean “faith's fall" or a fall from faith—this band’s brand new demo won’t have you losing faith in them anytime soon. Au contraire, the three-song, self-titled demo will have your skin crawling with black metalcore delight from the first to the last song. Already two singles into the recording process, FaithFall decided it was time to drastically switch up their approach, and so they focused on solidifying the line up, and honing their sound to accommodate the new additions. As they stand now Faithfall are Lorenzo Tarocchi and Francesco Tessi on guitar, Duccio Melani on bass, Stephen Toti on drums, and Matteo Magazzini on vocals. On the new demo the band manages to seamlessly meld the various techniques of all the musicians—whose influences range from bands like Chimaira, Pantera, DevilDriver, All Shall Perish, and Amon Amarth—into a one of a kind mashup of metal subgenres, all ending in –core. In songs like “Betrayed by the Sun” and “Hatred’s Substance”, the band translates their bleak, catastrophic view of the world into compact deathcore guitar riffs, groovecore shredding, coupled with the intense vocal growling and bone chilling howls. The demo was recorded at Sinful James' Studio and officially launched at Exenzia in Prato last October. They’ve got a growing list of onstage credits including supporting Nanowar Of Steel at the Cycle Club Calenzano in May of last year. They just rocked the stage at Viper Theatre in Florence for the Emergenza Festival Italia, where they swept enough votes to get to the semifinals. Make sure you come down to see them play. But beware, these guys will rock your faces off.
