Emergenza Festival organization is pleased to present a new master project starting its activity in the U.S.A. in 2004. Next 2003/2004 season, the festival will be held in Chicago, Boston, Buffalo, Washington and Philadelphia. For this important step, Emergenza is already working hard on different issues, producing a DVD together with a tutorial handbook, tought to form and help the new American Management crew, reporting all standard of work, presenting the organization, the staff, our sponsors and showing what Emergenza really means. In March Emergenza Tour Management started contacts with clubs, venues and music Stores in U.S. Most important and famous venues of these first five cities has been involved in this project. - As in Washington, the historical The Nation, The Velvet Lounge and Club Five; - in Philadelphia the Theatre of the Living Art, North by Northwest and 5 Spot; - in Chicago The Metro, Double Door and The Note; - in Buffalo the Mohawk Club, the Dome Theatre and The Tralf; - in Boston the Paradise Rock and the Avalon. All the mentioned venues are ready to receive more than 110 concerts and all meetings with the musicians of the bands will be held inside music stores, the very landmark for hundreds of musicians, as our 12 years old experience shows. At the end of March 2003, Emergenza formed an American Company based in Stamford, Connecticut. The whole activity in the U.S. will be 100% oriented and managed by the American Company. All people working in the local Organization will be American citizens. The project of Emergenza U.S.A. is, indeed, born to build an Emergenza American Management ready to form a main part for the worldwide successful of the future Emergenza concept. The main goal for following seasons is to produce the festival in 15 cities in the 2004/2005 season and 30 cities in the 2005/2006 season.
