EMERGENZA LANDING IN U.S.A.
544 Unsigned American bands now wanted for showcases in 15 U.S. Top Venues and for tours in Europe
After 12 years of activity throughout Europe and Canada, Emergenza Festival is set to kick off its productions and scouting in the US.
Today, In Europe, Emergenza is the most acclaimed and biggest festival with its invaluable partner Columbia records.
Ernie Ball- Music Man, Mapex, Crate, Ampeg, Sabian, Sennheiser, Remo, Regal tip are some of the partners of the Festival in the USA this year. These are the same who supported Emergenza for more than a decade contributing in creating a powerful and solid platform for the up & coming musicians in the Continent.
The selected Venues, where Emergenza Festival will be held this year, are like a dream for each young musician: Paradise Rock and Avalon in Boston, Double Door and the Metro in Chicago, Theatre of the Living Art and North by North East in Philadelphia, Nation and Five in Washington just to mention a few.
Prizes are huge and massive: more than 200,000 US$ in Music Man, Mapex, Crate, Ampeg, Sabian, Sennheiser, Remo and Regal Tip instruments. A real rainfall of gifts reserved to the attending musicians.
The best and most important award for the winning bands will be the chance to take off to Europe and play in front of 20,000 people during one of Europe’s most important Open Air live music festival in Europe. Three unforgettable days in heart of Germany all at the expenses of the organisation. The best band, from the array of international bands representing their countries, will be awarded a sponsored tour by Music Man at the Vans Warped Tour.
The opportunities, though, don’t end here. The best selected bands will have the pleasure of being included into a compilation dedicated to the best acts of the year. This compilation will be distributed across Europe through the festival. In addition to this, many bands will be included in the fantastic B.E.S.T. world tour . An event solely designed and exclusive to emerging and unsigned bands. The tour will cover Canada, USA and 14 European cities.
The opportunities for those 500 American bands who register to this year’s event are many, not least the opening of a window to a new market, in which to present their music. Historically, it is also true, that across the ”BIG POND”, Europe has been more propens and open to new genres, more so than North America.
At the same time the B.E.S.T. Tour is also another domain giving bands the forum in which to consolidated their existence and increase their visibility and success.
Throughout the season we’ll continue to follow with great interest the emerging “stars and stripes” rockers but for the moment, we want to more than anything, wish all good luck and a great concert!
