You have participated in the Emergenza Festival Edition 2015/2016. What made you decide to take part in it?
We decided to take part in Emergenza because we need to play our music on cool stages and to let the people know that we exist. So, Emergenza is one of the best ways in Italy.

As you approach the world final, what is your state of mind?
POWER! Our life’s reason is to play our music on stage, so this is a great great great occasion. We want to do it at the best, so we are focused and working really hard.

What is your best memory from your Emergenza experience?
Every single night has been magic. Great stages, cool audiences, very interesting bands and a perfect crew.

What's behind your band's name? Any specific meaning?
It’s the fusion of the two founder’s names, KUsch and peDA.

If you had to choose a famous song that represents your band...which one would it be?
We have to say many songs…we love all the music! Probably a “world-music” genere of song.

Can you tell us a funny story or anecdote about your experience on stage? And one which happened in backstage or during the preparation of a show ?
Once we were playing on a big stage, Christian (the singer) went to play the drums with Alex and at the end there was a stick inside a tom…WHAAAAT?!
And during the preparation of a recent show, 7 cables stopped to work during the last song of the soundcheck…DAMN! Start again…

How would you describe your music ?
Our music is a fusion of four different people. We put in the hat all that everyone of us listen…from pop to rock, from tribal to electronic…a lot of world-music influences…somebody define our genere as “ethnic-pop”.

Before you go on stage, do you have a ritual or a good luck charm that goes everywhere with you?
We haven’t got any ritual or similar, but we bring with us on stage some old African tribal masks like spiritual totems.

What is your dream gig?
We think that every gig is unique in a lot of ways. We love to play with much energy and we try to touch audience’s heart.

What can audiences expect from one of your live performances?
Emoction. Power. Tribal. Love. Heart.

If you could invite a band or an artist at your party, dead or alive, who would it be?
This answer is too difficult…maybe Peter Gabriel with Sting.

What are your short to medium term plans after the international final?
We are working on our first album. We are so busy but we want to release it in October/November.

What inspires you when you are composing (musical inspirations or others)?
In our music we try to put everything. It means that there are musical influences but also life influences from every kind of experience. We belive that the music has a really strong spiritual side.
The music is communication, the language that let you touch people’s heart.

What question did I forget?
Why do you play music? Because we love the life.

Why do you think you deserve to win the 2016 Festival edition?
This is the most difficult question. We can’t say it. We can just say that we’ll do it with heart, passion and love. The rest is a powerful show. Are you ready? Hahahaha!
