You have participated in the Emergenza Festival Edition 2015/2016. What made you decide to take part in it?
Our drummer Teemu Huuki suggested it and we thought it'd be a good way to get people to hear our music and make new contacts.

As you approach the world final, what is your state of mind?
At the moment our minds and thoughts are set on producing new material for the upcoming LP. We start concentrating to the finals and the festival as they get closer, before that we have many things going on.

What is your best memory from your Emergenza experience?
Having fun with the other bands. Can't wait to meet them again in Germany.

What's behind your band's name? Any specific meaning?
Rana was/is an imaginary friend of our singer Teemu Lumme. You can also think it as a state of mind or an imaginary place.

If you had to choose a famous song that represents your band...which one would it be?
Madonna - Like a virgin

Can you tell us a funny story or anecdote about your experience on stage? And one which happened in backstage or during the preparation of a show?
Nothing really comes to mind. It's serious business, no time for funny things... :--)

How would you describe your music?
As we listen to different kinds of music and experience different kinds of things, influences come from all around. We create landscapes where at times you can hear soft morning rains of summer between thunderstorms.

Before you go on stage, do you have a ritual or a good luck charm that goes everywhere with you?
We give each other a hug or do it together. And of course we take a sip of home made wine, made by our drummer.

What is your dream gig?
Every gig.

What can audiences expect from one of your live performances?
Really intense and energetic show and playing.

If you could invite a band or an artist at your party, dead or alive, who would it be?
Definitely Paris Hilton would be taking care of music and entertainment.

What are your short to medium term plans after the international final?
We are planing to record our LP, play more gigs and make our way to people's record players. Maybe some music video business is on the way also.

What inspires you when you are composing (musical inspirations or others)?
Interesting people, big emotions and feelings, art and all kinds of sounds.

Why do you think you deserve to win the 2016 Festival edition?
We are a young band craving to rock 'n' roll. And we have the best home made wine that needs to get out to the world!
