You have participated in the Emergenza Festival Edition 2015/2016. What made you decide to take part in it?
We had always wanted to play at the venues that were involved in the competition and some of our friends were playing too so we thought itd be a lot of fun!
As you approach the world final, what is your state of mind?
We’re pretty stoked to be able to go share our music with a totally new audience but kind of nervous because were kind of under a lot of pressure!
What is your best memory from your Emergenza experience?
I think our best memory was our set at the Metro Theatre in Sydney because it was the biggest venue we had ever played and it was one of our tightest shows
What's behind your band's name? Any specific meaning?
Our band is the name of a Roman ruler and a fuzz pedal which we thought sounded cool so we stuck with that
How would you describe your music?
Probably a combination of Blues, Rock and Math Rock in the poppiest way possible.
Before you go on stage, do you have a ritual or a good luck charm that goes everywhere with you?
We usually have a brief chat and prayer and were ready to roll
What is your dream gig?
Our dream gig would have to be something huge like Wembley or Glastonbury Festival. That’d go off.
What can audiences expect from one of your live performances?
Definitely a lot of on stage banter but just a lot of energy and old fashion rock n roll
If you could invite a band or an artist at your party, dead or alive, who would it be?
Hendrix. No competition.
What are your short to medium term plans after the international final?
We have just finished recording our Debut EP so we’re planning the release for that
What inspires you when you are composing (musical inspirations or others)?
A lot of the time, inspiration comes from stories or quotes and ideas are kind of built from that
Why do you think you deserve to win the 2016 Festival edition?
I think we have quite a unique sound and the world hasn’t quite seen anything like us and needs to
