KANSAS CITY'S FINAL WAS A HUGE SUCCESS!
Forlorn Hope started the night off at Beaumont Club with a huge metal sound. Very explosive and crazy amounts of energy. Some melodic parts, ok transitions, vocals strain a little bit, but overall very solid.
Man vs. Machine is progressive rock with a hard-rock edge. Talented and vocals are solid, but they need a more diverse sound.
Then took the stage Mr. Gribber, a very diverse band, much tighter this time, progressive-funk-rock sound. Bad look, good dynamics, music is very eclectic.
Brainbow is a great band, very cool look mixed with tons of energy, original sound, talent at all parts, and their stage presence and dynamics are solid.
Up next, Applebutta is a good bar band. Solid vocals and players. Ok energy, band dynamics, ok transitions and lead guitar needs more feel.
Crash The Car followed: vocals off, solid music, ok presence/dynamics/transitions, good to work with.
Lucid Fiction are good players, mix of old and new school, hard-rock with some keyboard action, mature on stage and best set of whole competition.
Next up to the stage was Dora Dank: ok band, with good dynamics with a heavy/melodic rock with explosive energy. Best front man of the show too.
Waiting List is a very refreshing band. Great players, lush with melody and creativity, great vocals that have an accessible edge to them, great rhythm section, great dynamics, good energy, mature on stage and great harmonies. Amazing band with amazing potential to grow.
Underhoss took the stage next: vocals come off very angry instead of energetic. Great lead guitar, good dynamics, very diverse sound.
Vibe is a fantastic R&B band, great players, great groove, very tight and very expressive.
Cruxed finished the night off with a solid hard rock sound: tight band, lots of energy and good guys to work with.
