The Rockit Room Rocks it Again!
Once again the Rockit Room provided an awesome stage and sound for these great bands to do their thing on. The shows were a blast and the venue couldn’t be better. With an awesome staff and great sound, the Rockit Room lives up to its name at every show.
Friday, April 20th
Bitch Hits the Floor started Friday night out and put on a great show. These talented youngsters played great rock tunes encompassing many different genres.
Glug took stage next and blew us away. These guys played so tight it sounded like a studio album. The guitar riffs were awesome!
Nidiet kept the night rolling with their interesting compositions and song arrangements. Definitely a great live band.
Frozen Smile, the name speaks for itself. We all had perma-grin after their set. Watersigns played next and had the crowd stunned. From the first note stuck these guys amazed the audience with their awe inspiring instrumental tunes.
Pinpoint Mercy showed us what it takes to make a great live show. Amazing energy from this band. Great tunes and guitar licks from these guys.
Grace Woods Trio changed up the mood a little and relaxed the audience with her soulful songs and great hook-filled melodies.
Fringe played next and rocked all of us. These rock veterans really know how to please a crowd.
Sagaval ended the night on a good note. Definitely a treat to see live if you ever get the chance.
Saturday, April 21st
Saturday night started out very mellow with Raja serenading us all with her smooth jazz sound. It was a great relaxing way to start out the night.
Swampdonkey showed us how to integrate blues into alternative music with all their great blues licks and solos.
The Ignorance rocked the stage next and had everybody feeling good. These dudes really knew how to play old school rock even though they were youngsters.
Rum took the stage next and threw down their style of classic-rock in a contemporary fashion.
One 9 Shangrali had the place thumpin with wild guitar tones, pounding bass lines, and energy filled funk-rock songs.
The Funkanauts took off were One 9 Shangrali left off and funked us all up. These guys were an amazing live funk band, truly awesome.
The Levee played next and had everybody paying attention. This band was filled with unique instruments and equally unique songs and arrangements.
The Thunders took the stage next and had the place going crazy with their wild indie rock songs, not to mention the minions of fans they brought to the show. What a great professional band.
Magnus Hitch ended the night on another great note. These guys were great at what they do. Awesome original songs and great individuality within the band.
