HARD ROCKIN' IN NY!

Red Hot Shows at The Bitter End

Wednesday, April 18th The weekend kicked off with the rock & roll rifts of Media Crime. These guys fronted by an energetic lead singer in a jump suit, tore into the night. They even rocked a little Irish ditty. Snug followed and helped to keep the energy flowin''. With cool rock grooves, nice changes and even a bit of reggae, they really got the house moving. The Nox Curve took the stage next and really tore it up, with their own blend of emotional rock belted out by their front man. Next up were The Sarkies. These young kids changed the tempo of the club, and took us in a really cool direction with their mellow sound and smooth licks. Kill For This however brought the tempo back up with their fast pace energy and straight rockin''. The Day Before took the stage next and belted through song after song as their lead singer bounced around stage like a pinball. Coming up next was The Thoughts That Kill. These guys tore through their set like pros, with cool rock grooves and great compositions. Pelagia wrapped up the night, and in great form I might add. With really cool songs and great harmonies everyone ended their evening more than satisfied. Thursday, April 19th MJ & The Heretics started off the night with their own blend of punk infused blues, "what a cool combination". They even threw in a bit of harmonica to change the dynamic even a little more. One L Difference took the stage next and filled the air with their cool sound and melodic melodies. Fronted by keys and a sax from time to time this was a cool set. Next up were the boys from JonesTown. These guys had the whole place groovin'', with their strong energy and great rock songs. The Johns (NYC) were next at the plate and man what a show they put on. With a mix of punk and rock they really kept the energy flowing. Our very special guest Julius C also stopped by. These guys are currently on our B.E.S.T. Tour and they are always a pleasure to have on the bill. With their unique sound of funk intertwined with rock no one is ever left seated. Next up was Joshua Mitchell. This guy had a great authentic R&B sound. He had three backup singers to compliment his great voice, and together they belted through fun and jazzy beats. Grunes Herz was next in line. These guys from Russia tore through their set in true metal form. With hard thrashes and intricate songs, this was a set not to be missed. 23 to Sparta followed them, and just nailed it, with a fun and energetic front man, cool changes, keys and even a really cool blues song. Elastic Pyramid took the stage from there and played a great set, with a cool sound fronted by an acoustic guitar and a fun stage presence. Roots Rock Rebel wrapped up the evening with their own style of hard rock and cool rifts. Friday, April 20th RobRoyMountJoy was first to kick off the night and did so in true fashion. They had a very unique and distinctive rock sound that was all their own. Missy Rogers followed, and just helped to ease us into the night with her beautiful voice and pretty songs. Angel Vivaldi was next and man can this guy play guitar. With absolutely no vocals this guy just ripped through the set without even ever playing a cord. I think I even saw smoke coming from the neck of his guitar. Lesser Being followed and tore it up with their thrashing metal rifts and nasty beats. Sherman and Greg took it from there and played a truly great set. They had great songs and a melody that was all their own. By the time they were done they had the whole house dancing to the groove. Julius C returned once again, to the delight of all those in attendance. What can you say about these guys? They always destroy their set and win over fans with every show played. It was funking awesome. PM was next at the helm,<
