High Energy at L.A. The Gig

Los Angeles brings in talent again like no other substitutions would hold a flame to this weekend’s night of shows! Thursday, brought in Fin who splashed the stage with an Indie set, while Fearmia performed an acoustic set that had its lead vocals sound similar to that of the Cranberries. Next up was ½ MT who sung the blues, and Second Story View threw some jazz into the mix while The Slingshots settled the night off with death core. Friday started off with Hard Rain that poured on a rocking set, and Kate Russell brought out her Oz soul with country, while Groove Bazaar brought down the roof with rhythm & blues. Black Lewis set the new tone of rock and Maskeyer performed a song titled “Lago” that moved the crowd. Cellar’s performance was full of rock and sweat, and Glory Hog celebrated their glory as they moved onto the next round. Saturday had Mark Santos begin with a rock set, and Bridgework had something to say with a song titled “Summer” that shone them on. Jahmark & The Soulshakers really showed the crowd their love light while they had the room stomping to Reggae. Tyranis performed a metal set while Oddisea were experimental rock. Sunday had Holloway the band start things off with a cover of “Over the Rainbow” that ended their set. Next up was FreshCity that shook the club and made some serious noise as they touched the sky with a blow out performance! Nikki Z was a force equally to be reckoned with as she followed suit with overdrive! Desmadre performed an underground hip-hop set that had explicit lyrics which scared the majority of on lookers myself included… The Mad Jones Band were in full throttle attire with spunk and funky-rock, All Else Fails were experimental, while Ethereal were rockin to their own beat. Escaping Zane rounded off the night with a song titled “Just So You Know” that moved them along.
