A Sweet Weekend at The Bitter End!

This holiday weekend at New York most famous club The Bitter End, was one filled with a plethora of bands satisfying the most most discriminating of musical taster buds. Snagged started things out Friday night and delivered a solid set of catchy riffs and cool lyrics. High Five hit the stage next and delighted the crowd with their melodic blues influenced rock. With songs entitled "I Wouldn''t Live With You if the World Was Flooded in Piss and You Lived in a Tree", the audience loved them. The Chilling Detailes took the stage next and put down their indie-rock style in a style all their own. Zen played next and reminded us that dissonant rock still lives! Filled with strange guitar sounds and groovy bass lines, the audience was pleasantly surprised. Bound By Substance rocked the place with their melodic and hook filled rhythmus and keyboards. The Folk had the crowd cheering with their Coldplayesque songs and masterful compositions. Mattress Armada changed the mood up a bit d played some great energy filled punk songs. Sinkin North played an awesome set after they fixed their technical problems. The Vivid Twisted left the crowd scared with their dark industrial metal music. Saturday night started out with Cranial Damage up first. These guys definitely did some damage to the head. The bass drum head that is - very metal. A good solid set none the less. Dead Magnum kept the metal mood in full swing as they busted out their tight yet heavy songs with precision. Talk is Cheap had the crowd''s attention with their style of poppy rock and emo. Jimmy’s Rings delighted us with their mellow songs and melodic sound. Chatam took the stage next and rocked the place! These youngsters had a great original sound going on for themselves. The ladies loved it! Receptor went onstage next and showed us what great singing is all about. Seca Konsa and Les Enrage took the stage last to rap up the weekend of shows and delivered the goods like no other.
