It’s All About Atlanta!

An impressive, talented wave of bands at Vinyl



Atlanta had another weekend filled with unique unsigned acts at Vinyl. Emergenza’s second set of elimination shows proved to be not only entertaining but filled with talented acts of all genres from the Atlanta area. Thursday, November 16th Thursday was a pretty chill show with several acts that funked it out, ripped it up and smacked the audience with pure unsigned talent. The band Boink! kicked off this weekend’s events with a solid instrumental rock set. Jeremy Thornton followed with an excellent R & B Soul act complete with two keyboardists and excellent back up vocals. Space Kase closed out the evening with a funky hip-hop jam based set that had the crowd twisting and twirling. Friday, November 17th Friday’s Emergenza shows at Vinyl were something else! The Papa Luigi Project opened up the night with a guitar driven rock set. Great vocals and excellent instrumentation will surely guide this band into greatness! Typhoid Mary was up next with something a little harder, but equally impressive. Senona, a poppy band with excellent female lead vocals, followed to really bring the energy to another level. O’Brother stepped up with excellent stage presence. The Same Brain then took the stage and rocked out a solid rock set complete with a special guest vocalist to add a hip-hop element to the whole vibe. Rome brought us back to the rock world with excellent compositions and strong vocals. Trial By Fire was an energetic rock band that had a knack for rhythm. Bury Me Breathing stepped out to a packed audience and rocked the faces off of everyone! Night After Dark, a group of young rockers really closed out Friday’s events with a bang! Saturday, November 18th Saturday was truly a quality evening of Emergenza elimination rounds in Atlanta. The rock trio Hanoman opened up the evening with excellent rhythms and strong lead vocals. Holdfast Arms followed with a pop punk style that had everyone rockin’. Fatality stepped up with a very good stage presence. These youngsters sure know how to rock a joint! Ninety Second Minute then took the stage and offered a different perspective on indie punk. Black as Day, a metal band, changed the mood a bit with a harder set. Run 4 Cover took that momentum and brought things to a whole new world with hard and efficient rock. Openblind was the perfect late-night band to really get things rollin’ before the end of the weekend. Autumn’s Arrival closed out this weekend’s events with a very impressive set that had the crowd roaring.
