Bands On The Rock!
Emergenza's successful debut in Hartford
For the first time ever, Hartford witnessed the Emergenza Festival. The gigs went off like a blast and blew everybody’s eardrums off!
The bands came from all over the place and they were thrilled to set foot on On the Rock’s stage, one of the most well-known live venues in the city.
Thursday, November 9th
On Thursday night, Fragile X kicked off with a bang. This band put together a concoction of rock-funky-hip-hop that had the people shaking and tapping their feet to.
The alternative-grunge band Prosthetic Mind performed a very powerful and energetic shows.
The 80’s metal band Headwrench had a wireless off-stage performance amongst their fans and proved that they can put on a hell of a show.
Not for Nothing impressed everybody with their powerful hard rock style and an amazing lead singer!
Ace Combat went on stage next. This punk band and their tunes were a lot of fun (I loved their quirkiness). Eve of Destruction performed a pure rock’n roll set with energy and sweat.
Tempest Edge closed the night with a very dynamic rock-funky set.
Friday, November 10th
On Friday night the young and talented guys from Shelly Died Laughing started off the show with a neat rock-jazzy performance that had me feeling good.
Triadic performed a unique blend of different rock styles. The lead female singer is definitely very talented.
Based 2 rocked the crowd with their fully talented musicians: great tunes, tight music arrangements, unbelievable drummer and unique sound from the electric violin. Keep up the good work guys!
Red-headed Stepchild played a very aggressive and powerful hard rock performance. Fast Forward performed a very tight alternative rock set that got them to move on to the semifinal round.
The sparkling girls from Sister Funk came on stage next and tore the place down. This funky-jazz-rock band won the crowd over with one of the most precise and intense performance of the all weekend.
The emo-rock band Vespera did a very cool gig.
Magnesium Jake brought on stage all their experience performing an impressive rock set with great skill.
Shadowgraph came on stage with a blowing-mind performance. Their 80’s alternative rock sound got everybody to cheer and vote for them.
Saturday, November 11th
On Saturday night A Higher Elevation performed a very neat alternative rock set. Consequence of Change won the crowd over with their progressive rock special sound.
Indigae went on stage next performing a very talented indie rock set.
Rock’n roll came on stage with Fellfromstars and Free Drinks. Both bands rocked and the crowd showed their appreciation by screaming to their music.
The pop alternative rock band Far From Here played really well and had a lot of success with the crowd.
Otherwise brought a breath of fresh air with their keybord, turntable and very peculiar electronic reggae sound… they had a blast!
The young guys from Biaxident played a very intense progressive performance.
Jake Siberion and his band closed the night with his alternative rock sound and talented musicians.
Sunday, November 12th
On Sunday night One Last Trip opened up the night bringing on stage a lot of energy with their punk rock performance.
The rock band White Rose Confession won the night with their tight performance. Great stage presence!
The reggae band Crucial Massive played a very entertaining and shining set that had everybody shaking.
Livid came on stage next and rocked the venue with such a tight, talented and intense funky set that surprised everybody.
The metal bands Noless Than Everything and After The Fall performed aggressive, energetic and powerful sets.
The punky young guys from Aria closed the show with a very coo
