TOP STORIES
In Vane is a progressive melodeath outfit from the province of Utrecht. Formed in 2009 by Luuk & Jesper starting as 2 musicians who wrote songs that defined a genre they wanted to play and couldn't get with any previous bands.
In 2010 Arjun Stemerdrink joined on 2nd guitar and a few weeks later Anton Rijks joined in on drums. In Vane have shifted from their nostalgic melodic deathmetal sound to a more progressive grooving kind of melodic deathmetal. Their songs consist out of heavy riffs and catchy chorusses combined with the occasional clean parts where Jesper performs clean vocals rather than the harsh vocals he uses most.
