Mantis and the Prayer (originally from NY) have now reformed and are based in Melbourne. The newly assembled band is fierce and breaking into the local scene. Grand prize winners of the Melbourne Fresh band competition, Mantis and the Prayer are now playing shows at the Corner Hotel and recording their LP. Drawing upon subject matter such as sex, the supernatural, heartbreak and madness Mantis and the Prayer craft their unique rock style and sound which will leave you elated.
